Los Bomberos Blues Band is a Costa Rican group formed three years ago by Francisco “Pachi” Paz (drums and vocals), Michael Rose (guitar and vocals), and Jorge Araya Lao (bass and vocals). The band began with a strong foundation in traditional blues, later incorporating elements of rock, jazz, and R&B—expanding both their musical identity and the richness of their sound.

Since their early days, the band has maintained a steady presence on stages across Costa Rica. They currently lead the country’s only active Blues Jam Session, held at the London Room, where they’ve earned recognition for their energetic sound, onstage chemistry, and the central role improvisation plays in their performances. Los Bomberos Blues Band are now planning their first EP, a project that will feature interpretations of key pieces from their regular repertoire and mark an exciting new chapter in their artistic development.
